Help Login Data Not "Sticking"

Jack45

Android Expert
With Opera Mini my login User Name and Password "sticks" for future use. Fine.

With the native browser, they don't. My settings have "remember passwords" checked to save user names and passwords for Web sites, but the browser has STML (short term memory loss). This has been the case with both Eclair and now Froyo.

What am I not doing?

Thanks.

I think for other browsers, you have to use an add-on passwords app.

Dolphin HD has it's own add-on (but I think it's paid).

I use Skyfire, and pretty much avoid going to sites that require passwords. I use Opera Mini for that.

For other sites, I use the site's app, if there is one.

Thing is, the native browser has that preference setting that causes me to believe that the login data can be saved. I can check this forum on the road using Opera Mini without having to enter login info each time.

I know what you mean. I was able to use the password add-on for Dolphin HD. But since Dolphin was so slow, I uninstalled it.

I use Opera Mini for all my surfing except for when I want to view videos. Then I use Skyfire. No longer have any other browser installed (other than stock, which I've hidden).

Sorry I couldn't help...
