Root [Loki][Uncapped] rbheromax Kernel (JB recovery fix)

Hey RB,

Just tried flashing the new kernel, and all I'm getting is a vibration and a blank screen. I'll send some llogcats in the next half hour. I'm really interested to see how far we can push this device.

Regards,
Nova_Deimos

P.S. Good call on the cache not mounting right in CM 10.1. I've almost got it locked down.

You won't be able to logcat as adb is disabled at boot, but give me a sec to rebuild that same image and add adb on boot so we can get that logcat. and yeah I spent some time trying to get that cm to work but now I'm working on getting 4.3 to us. :D

What up RB,

That sounds beautiful, I'm ready to flash that kernel whenever you're ready, and I can't wait for the new JB. Do you know someone with a Nexus 4, S3, or S4 that received the 4.3 update? Hit me up for testing.

Regards,
Nova

Give me some time to make a completely new build. It'll be the best yet. As for the 4.3, I just took the Nexus 4 leak and extracted the files. The Nexus 4 is an APQ8064 board, which is a variation of the MSM8960 the Galaxy Stellar is based on, so I figured it'd be safe to flash their kernel too. When I check out the N4 kernel, I will test and release that too.

I'm just set up a whole new build environment., I can set it to build as soon as I make all the changes to the source. It should be done in a few hours and ready for testing then.

Just in case anyone cares, here's how I got Czar Kernel (0.7) to work on my LH2 JB.

Install ics-czar-full.zip, then Czar Kernel stellar-uncapped.zip.

Thank you very much for your work rb, everything works just as expected!

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I already had TWRP 2.5.0.0, and from there I installed the first package, reboot recovery, then installed the actual kernel.

Um...not so far, good thing is I got the Galaxy Victory to 1.8 GHz and their your sister phone so it'll be a pretty smooth transition. Its called the VaeVictus kernel if you wanna look it up. But im looking into having someone with a good enough PC to build cm for me as my PC is old as dirt.

Yeah, I should, and I will thanks for the tip. I believe they gave up hope on this phone. I'm trying to support every msm8960lite device with no devs (Galaxy Victory and Stellar, ZTE avid and Force and whatever else)

in contacting invisiblek and billard412? or working on this kernel? btw i got something coming in the next few days for this phone...just gotta re-setup my build machine

its capped @ 1.2 GHz with added Govs and avs
just finding a starting point with my new source...

tested the kernel.
flashed it successfully.
the seems to be booting fine , however there is no display , but the capacitive buttons light up.

it seems to have killed the display.

I Odined back to 4.0.4 and everything fine after ODIN.

awesome!!!!!!!!!!
i know what killed display....
let me back it up a bit and make a new build
wooooo!!!!!! back in business.
