lol i cant kill my battery

rsarno

Thank Me, Im Irish!
trying to cycle this new battery so i can try something

navigation is on, bluetooth on but no device to pair with, wifi on but no spot to sync with, 3g on but in a bad area, music player on, newsrob on 30min syncs, and screen on max

go baby go!! Still at 68% tho :(

Here's what I did to drain the battery:
Pokemon emerald on that GBA emulator in a place with lightning (so the screen was constantly flashing completely white) at 8x speed. :P

Didn't take long at all to get it to drain.

Run some 3D games; if they have any network play use it (HR Battle 3D), leave navigation on, stream some music, load some pics in slide show.

And how long have u been trying? That might be what everyone wants to know......lol

Yeah what battery do you have? are you trying to keep it secret? :D

sorry, no. I am trying to speed-break-in my facotry battery

from the moment i unboxed my dinc, i used the seido extended, so now i need to break this one in quick and see if it effects the reboot issue im having.

doubt it, but we'll see

Wow, what a clueless thread.

First off, 90% doesn't constitute a drained battery.

And 50% after one text message? Oh BS. Why aren't you sending your obviously defective phone back?

I call BS on this whole thread. The Incredible uses battery exactly like I would expect any smartphone of its capability to do. No, actually, it performs better than I expected, especially after hearing all the whining from people who believe in nonsense like "bump charging" and think that 60% after a few hours of intensive usage is a problem.

Post some actual evidence of unreasonable battery drain or just quit whining about things you don't understand.

Umm, I was being sarcastic...

I got the 2150 from VZW and i cant kill it in 2 days! heh your best bet to kill it is upload a movie and let it play a few times heh, thats my biggest battery drain.

I guess I'm missing the point here, why is everyone attempting to drain their battery on purpose? I thought it was pretty well known by now that a full drain/full charge on these batteries doesn't do anything to improve the overall life.
