I uninstalled a few games and apps that I don't ever touch and it's made a noticeable improvement.

Another Palm Pilot believer........ I still have the desktop app running on my PC, but the device itself is dead.

I have the desktop app in my pc, i use it as an address book, my TX is still alive and kicking, 8 years of use (6 year of those of intense daily and lot of drops use) now i only use it for address book, and some some times for listening to music (the ptunes with the tx audio hardware quality is amazing)
