Help Lollipop SMS issues

Is anyone else having issues on Lollipop with long SMS? When I send texts longer than 160 characters, even though they appear to have been sent from my side, the person that I send them to never get them. I've tried Messenger, Hangouts, and QKSMS, yet none have fixed this.

Which carrier are you on? it may have something to do with how hangouts sends long SMS's versus what your carrier wants it to work like
