Root Lollipop Update

I have a Sprint G3 that is rooted. I am wondering that when Lollipop come around, will I be able to accept the OTA update with it being rooted. The recovery is still stock. Also, if I am able to receive the update, will it wipe my device or will I lose root? Thanks for your help.

If you're stock rooted, you'll probably be able to accept it but I'd assume you'll lose root. Since you're rooted, why not just wait and flash a rooted stock ROM? Or even better a custom lollipop once they're out.

Or try out bliss pop 5.0.1. I'm loving it so far.

I just received a notification that says I have a android system update. I am rooted and have custom recovery installed. I know I am not suppose to accept the update but how do I get the notification to disappear? I can't get it to disappear. Thanks

I have sprint...no android system update for me :(
I live near wash dc...i guess its a regional thing :(

Just be careful if you freeze software update in tb. I did that and I didn't have wifi calling setup and because of that frozen, I couldn't update prl or profile. I thawed the file and I was able to update.
