Help Long delay before making a call

Hey,
I bought S2 (GT-I9100) with already installed ICS (4.0.3) 2 weeks ago.

It was all fine at first, but lately, whenever i try to make a call, there is a 10-50 second delay before the screen switches to call mode (i.e. shows "Calling..." etc) and actually starts making a call. Doesn't matter from where i choose to call (log/favourites/contacts etc).

The phone is responding fine during that delay. Restarting the phone sometimes helps, but only till i lock the screen. After i unlock it and try to make a call, the delay is present again.

At first, i thought it was because of Juice Defender (like maybe it disables too much), but the problem still persists after uninstalling all apps i downloaded after i bought the phone.

Is there anything i can try to fix this issue?

I have exactly the same problem
same phone and OS..Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) with Android ICS (4.0.3)
Baseband version: I9100XXLPS
Kernel version: 3.0.15-I9100XWLP7-CL340913 dpi@DELL134#3
Build number: IML74K.XWLP7

does anyone have any idea what patch to apply or anything?
thanks

I finally did a factory data reset and it seems things are okay now. Calling is instant.

Not sure how long this will last though, but i hope this fixed the problem for good. I really don't want to return the phone because that's like an endless circle of replacement phones and waiting.
