Root Long press screen unlock

I have noticed that my lockscreen has gone from long press to just a tap to unlock. I was wondering if anyone else has notice anything similar in their device.

Yeah, you're not alone. It turned into just a tap even before I rooted my device. I can't seem to pin-point what makes it do so.

Same here. Noticed this long before root was even discovered for the device. I use a different lockscreen now but I just changed back to check if it still behaves that way and it does.

i turned off my lockscreen so i can wake my phone with Gravity Screen and go straight to my home screen.....
i really liked the lockscreen from CARBON ROM on my last phone... that had 8 targets.....
and holding my finger in one spot just to unlock my phone with no other shortcuts or targets seemed kinda lame after that kind of convenience ....
so now i just wave my hand over the sensor and pretend i'm special ...lol....(it's a joke)

Sounds like some jedi force mind trick to wake up the phone haha.

Same thing here. One day it just changed from a long press to just a tap. Also my text message notifications wouldn't clear after I read the text. Did a factory reset and everything is back to normal.
