Looking for an Android phone with these

I'm looking to upgrade my wife's Verizon Blackberry to a newer Android phone. I have seen some possibilities, but thought I would ask here to see if maybe someone can recommend something I haven't looked at. Here is what we are looking for in a new Android phone:


  • Verizon capable service
  • good battery life (if that is possible from what I am hearing)
  • 4G (LTE) compatible
  • video output to a TV (HDMI and/or composite) with either cradle or adapter cable
  • front and rear cameras
  • bluetooth
  • separate keypad for texting


I thought about the Samsung Stratosphere since it seems to have most of the above features, but can't confirm (yes/no) if it can be hooked up to an external monitor of some kind. Any other suggestions?
 
Since you're coming from a BB I'd like to warn ya that you better get used to putting the phone on its charger every night, you won't get more than 1 day of battery juice. Especially with 4G.

I cannot make any suggestions on phones because I have no idea on HDMI ports.
 
Yea, I am aware that we will most likely have to put the Android phone on the charger nightly, but my wife actually already does this with her Blackberry (probably due to age) so she is sort of used to it & it probably won't be an issue. As long as it can at least handle most of the day, we would be happy with it. Could even get an extra battery for possible emergencies.

Looks like the LG Optimus is only available for Sprint and T-Mobile. Looking for something for Verizon. Anybody?
 
Since you are looking for a Keyboard, the stratosphere is really the only option since you are also looking for an LTE device. The only problem is the Stratosphere doesn't support MHL via USB, and it doesn't have a micro HDMI port. So you wouldn't be able to hook it up to an HDTV, unless you used a cable that can export video with the headphone jack. (Which wouldn't really be decent quality.)
