Looking for app to create video

It's my son's birthday at the weekend and I want to create 2 videos for him.
1 will be photos of his life (around 300 photos)
1 will be video messages from friends and family put together into 1 video.

What's the best app to use to create these?
Ideally for the video of photos I'd like to select all photos in an album on my phone and for the app to shuffle them for the video.

you can do some really cool things in google photos. under the search tab scroll down until you see "creations". you can see the different stuff you can do such as making collages, make movies from your photos, and so on.
