Looking for case

I currently have the otterbox defender case, great for the protection it's given me, but the silicon outer case is getting stretched out. Seems other people have had similar problems with it so I'm looking to switch instead of just replace. Any good cases you guys recommend?

Apparently if you put the otterbox in a pot of boiling water for 30 seconds it will regain its shape. Anyway I'm a fan of the case mate tough case. It's never come off one of my phone's since I accidentally drop kicked my old galaxy s2 about 6 foot down the road. The phone survived in perfect condition and there wasn't even a scratch on the case.

I had the Defender with the same issues. Otterbox did replace it once under warranty, but the one did the same thing. For the past few months I've been using a UAG case, and I love it! It has survived several drops and one drop kick on cement with no damage to phone or case. Add to that it's a one piece case which is much easier to remove, and it's much thinner than the Defender making it easier to pocket.

I'll try boiling the case when I get home. I was looking at trident cases, see a lot of good things about the around the internet. Anybody here ever had 1?

It does fit in the Otterbox belt clip also, so if the one that comes with it breaks I have a backup.

i currently own 4 cases for my GS3..


a. belkin white ...turning yellowish....first case i bought
b. Hyperion extended battery case...horrible fit..hardly use it
c. belkin clear...great fit...good grip low profile
d. Verizon shell with kickstand and holster...my favorite right now....able to stand it upright when reading or watching YouTube....

I personally like the ballistics sg maxx you can get alot of cases on amazon for pretty cheap

My otterbox was actually scracthing my phone
