Accessories Looking for External Microphone Adapter

Howdy Folks!

I hope someone can help me locate the piece of gear I need to do the following;

I want to connect a high-end external microphone to my Incredible so I can use it as a mobile recorder. Currently I have an XLR mic to impedance matcher which converts to MONO 1/4" phono. The 1/4" to 3.5mm reducer I have does NOT appear to be sending the MIC input to the correct ring in the phone. So what I need (or need to know) is how can I do this, what adapter can I get or at least what the TRS assignment is so i can make one.

Is that spam ?

Does the Incredible even take audio in from headset jack in Movie Mode?

If so, then you need to customize the headset jack and will probably need to trial and error it to figure out where the proper mic in is.

The Incredible does Stereo, but does it do stereo when its doing the phone audio? Not sure myself.
