Hey guys,
I have been running Bionix 1.3.1 touchwiz with Bali 1.8.7UV Kernel and Overstock 1.5.2UV kernels. I had no problems with Bali's kernel until I think I installed the samsung apps (I just wanted wifi calling as the area I'm staying for the summer has terrible T-Mobile reception). From then on, I've just experienced constant crashes while texting, installing or and other regular uses. So I switched to Overstock's and still the same problem. Also the battery life has not improved dramatically with either kernel (Last night it was 75 around 12:30 and was around 40 at 8:30 in the morning). I continue finding myself charging it twice a day basically.
So coming to my question, is there a ROM that is pretty good at conserving battery while not freezing up so often? I am interested in 2.2.1 but any is fine - I just really like the touchwiz interface with contacts and messages at the bottom always instead of gingerbread's interface.
