I am looking for a pair of headphones that I will mainly be using while running. For this particular pair, audio quality is going to have to take a backseat to some other needs.
Here are a few things that I need:
1. In-line microphone - I go on some fairly long runs and occasionally have to stop and take a call, but I keep my phone in the pocket of a hydration pack.
2. In-ear design, preferably with interchangeable sleeves.
3. In-line controls (skip/pause/volume) - This would be nice, but I could live without it if necessary.
Budget is probably no higher than about $40, but I would be plenty happy not spending all of it.
I made a silly mistake using my Shure E2C's for a few hundred miles. I was on borrowed time with them, but I finally got too much sweat in the left ear-bud and it no longer works. I will get something with better sound quality for travel, but I still need some for running.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.
