looking for help on wireless keybord for BIONIC WITH hd DOCK

First i'm brand new here, so thanks in advance for any help that i get ...

Bought my bionic about a month ago, so far doing okay with it but (and there are always butts) i now have the hd dock, hooked it up to my led tv and it works great, but what i need now is a wireless keyboard & mouse.

Took a trip to wallyworld bought a hp 2.4 g keyboard & mouse, the mouse works but not the keyboard doesn't so i called verizon spent way to long talking to them and then got handed off to motorola (omg talking to the third world again) after more time then i wanted to spend they passed me to level 2 ( some guy in fl didn't seem to know much) after 144 minutes the answer was (drum roll please) they don't know anything about anything that isn't moto but that for it to work it would have to have "hid" okay so i could just break down and buy a moto keyboard but i just know that there has to be a keyboard & mouse out there that cost less then half the price that will work....

I looked on amazon, i just don't want to pull the trigger on something that may not work and then im back in the same boat..

Also, took a trip to the local virizon store yesterday and they don't carry the moto keyboard they had a targus blutooth keyboard and it wouldn't pair to my bionic.

Don't you just love it when things are this easy to work with...

I guess if i wasn't trying to save a buck or ten or twenty id be typing this on my bionic right now but i just not willing to over pay for somethng ..

Thanks, sam

I'm currently using an HP Elite v2 Wireless Keyboard and Logitech Couch Mouse M515 with my HDMI Dock and they work great. Prior to that I was using a Logitech Wireless Combo MK260 which also worked fine. Which brand keyboard are you having issues with?

I am using a Logitech EX 100 wireless keyboard and mouse. Works great. No bluetooth to pair. Just plugs into the usb on back of HD dock.

Did you try plugging the keyboard into your PC or another device to test it out? More than likely it's a defective keyboard.
