Looking for help with camera

Just got Moto Droid Monday. Love it so far. Dont understand Gallery. Shows Camera pictures and Camera Media but both have same photos or videos. There is no inedication of SD cars content. I am looking through threads now to see if this has already been addressed. I am new to this so please excuse any errors in procedure.

I threw a bunch of photos on my card in a folder called pictures. They show up in the gallery. The folder is on the root of the sd card.

What you see in the gallery is all on the SD card. I don't think there's even an option NOT to save files on the SD card. Programs can do it if they specify, but any time you take a picture or video, or download something with the Droid, it goes onto the SD card.
