hi everyone, i just discovered this forum and i need some help. i bought a htc hero 3 days ago and it has been working perfectly but yesterday it just started switching on and off by itself non stop. when it switches on it dosent go to the home page it just shows the clock and it says no service. ive removed the battery and sim card, connected it to a usb...and none of it works. im gonna bring it back to the shop tomorrow but just wondering if anyone knows anything i can do to be able to use it in the meantime. thanks
 
To reset the phone using phone buttons, with the phone turned off, press and hold the HOME, END CALL/POWER, and BACK buttons. The reset process will start after a few seconds
 
hmm, doing this should only be used as a last resort really. I find deleting apps you have installed fixes this problem. Until they patch this thing again I would try that first. Or take it to a sprint store.
