Looking into getting the Motorola Droid

I joined this forum to get a feel for how the new Moto Droid is doing and how folks like it. My 2-year Sprint jail-term, oops...my Sprint contract is up this month (!!!) and I'm going phone hunting real soon.

Anybody have any idea what the rumored update coming in January will include?
