Well, I'm a bit of a cell phone junkie...
Have had the G1, htc shadow, palm centro, blackberry pearl. Currently I'm using the Iphone 3GS, but am looking to make the jump back into droid with verizon. I just have to get the $ end of it in order because I have to put a deposit down, then buy the phone.
I was wondering, there aren't too many 'must haves' that I see myself missing from the iphone but.. can someone shed some light on these for me:
1) I use pandora practically24/7 on my phone/computer. Does droid have a pandora app?
2) How well does google voice work? I've got a work around right now to use it for texting on my iphone, so I don't have to pay for the texting.
3) I know the GPS is free, how well is the turn by turn? what are the people saying about it?
4) I'm no stranger to modifying my phones, I have my iphone jailbroken so I can use backgrounder, get themes and a few other things apple wont allow. How hard is it to get root? I remember back on the g1 it was a little involved, but nothing to complicated..
Anyways, I'm drooling over this phone and cannot WAIT to get it!
