Looking to stay with AOSP if possible but before I do anything should I backup everything again? I don't have much space on my card between Ti backup which I don't know where those are stored and backing up from the bootloader I just want to make sure it's right.

Nevermind I found the ROM list topic

You reboot into recovery and select backup/restore.

Leave the first three boxes checked and go ahead and backup WIMAX and SD-EXT if your SD card is partitioned.

This will save your phone in its exact state that it is in right now, so if you screw something up while flashing another ROM you can restore the nandroid and its as if nothing ever happened.

Its a time machine for your phone

I think I did it right.. I backed up and I wiped the dalvik and I flashed the new ROM.. Which btw I'm using the Calkulins EviO 2 v1.8

Anyways it's sitting at the splash screen here flashing the X over and over how long should I be waiting for?

Did you ONLY wipe the dalvik? Because from the sounds of that your ROM isnt going to boot.

If it sits there more than 10-15 mins you didnt wipe enough.

Wipe EVERYTHING except for SD card in recovery 2-3 times. Pro mode: wipe everything but SD card and then flash superwipe before flashing your ROM
