Lookout any good?

Never had malware on my droid.
Have downloaded from places other than market. Still never had malware on my droid. Does the GPS locater in lookout work well? Is it worth using lookout just for the locater just in case you ever lose your phone? Anybody have an opinion?if anyone ever lost their droid is the backup feature any good?

I used Lookout and NetQ I think it is for like a week a piece and ditched both. Will kill your battery. I found them useless. Use "Wheres My Droid" from the market. Works great and has some cool features.

You can turn off the malware search on mylookout. Never had a problem with it. good to keep track on the wife lol (i dont do this)

From whatever phone you text you'll get a few messages each containing information on its location. I.e. one saying the street, another with a google maps link
I changed my phrases though since if any of your friends now you have that app they mught decide to mess with you and text the phrase to make it go off, happened to me a while back lol
