Looks like I'm returning my Aria :(

Not only that, having to pay for the data plan isn't an issue when I plan on paying for it anyway. I'm basically just committing to continue to do something I would be doing anyway.

And if I want out of my contract, I could just pay the early termination fee ($150 minus $4 for each full month of Service Commitment completed).
 
no phone will continue to be awesome for the duration of your 2 year contract. there is a new iphone every year and an android update every 3 months. if you want a future proof phone, get a phone from 2 years in the future.
