Since upgrading to official ICS a week ago, I'm getting occasional huge battery drains and overheating.
Settings>Battery shows different apps hogging CPU time and battery. Looks like looping apps sucking up power but not always the same app.
So far Maildroid and Dolphin Browser have been the culprit but only once each, using 70-80% battery and 2-3 hours of CPU time. Forcing stop or pulling battery appears to fix the problem though with only two events its difficult to be sure.
Forum search shows similar events with other samsung phones so may be generic android/samsung problem. If so it would be good for samsung to know and to patch.
