Help Loose Camera Lense

Hello!

Has anyone noticed that their camera's lense/cover has a little give to it or is it just mine?

I noticed it today...may be taking the phone back to Verizon for a replacement.
 
I think what he is referring to is that when u tap the phone you will hear a little rattle, not like touching the lens and its loose. I have it on my current one, the one I returned, my dad's has it, and my iPhone 3Gs has it as well.
 
no it actually pushes in on one side...it doesn't seem like it would be designed that way as it looks too easy for dust/lint to get inside and then affect the camera quality...back to VZW it goes.

Does anyone know if this would be a straight in store swap or would they have to send it out etc..

This makes sense. Seems wrong to use double sided tape on such an expensive piece of equipment, but then again I know nothing about putting together electronics. It may be more common than I think for all I know.

Good luck with finding a store with them in stock, still a mystery as to why there still not in stock.
 
Brought the phone into my Vzw store today and they are having a new one sent out tuesday for replacement.

It was no questions asked but the techs seemed perturbed that I would bring the phone back for this reason...
 
One of the prev posters stated it is double sided tape holding our lenses covers on so it may not be loose now but imagine if it bumps against something. I just can't imagine why they chose the camera to be so vulnerable and exposed.
 
They are not in stock because thy don't have enough parts to assmble the phone. It's really annoying how the date keels getting pushed back for shipment dates online. I want to buy my incredible from verizon but I'm most likely going to buy it from my local best buy because they have it in stock.
