Help Loose connection to dock

Hey, I was wondering for those that have the tablet and the dock, how sturdy is your connection. When my prime is connected to the dock, there is a bit of wiggle room. It doesn't flail around, but if I hold the dock still and grab the tablet it wiggles around a little while the hinge stays stationary. Is my dock loose, or are all of them built with a little bit of wiggle. Just seeing if i should exchange for another or not
 
I just got my dock today and it seems pretty sturdy. Im not in front of my dock now but id try and tighten all the screws around it and if it stilll is loose return it.
 
Did you remove the rubber things on the bottom of your tablet?

There should be no wiggling at all, mine is nice and snug.
 
Yeah I took the rubber things off. I should clarify its not crazy loose. Just if you hold the hinge stationary and wiggle the tablet back and forth there is a little bit of play. Not enough to affect usability, it still feels really sturdy when in use.
 
So cn anyone else weigh in on this? My exchange window is running out soon and need to know if exchanging it would help or if my expectations are too high and this is how its supposed to be.

My connection is rock solid. I'd say, if you have any wiggle at all, something isn't right. Either you don't have it aligned quite right, or something is defective.

This thing is locked together with precision. To someone who didn't know this was a tablet and a dock, I bet they'd never guess it was two separate units.
 
Mine's pretty solid. If I hold the dock I can wiggle the screen just the tinniest bit. I agree, most people think it's one piece it's so well fitted.

Honestly not sure I'd want it much tighter, since I'm sure adding a screen protector is going to make things even more snug..
 
Mine is very solid. No play when it is connected, and it takes a fair bit of effort to get the tablet in or out.
 
Mine wiggles a bit too. I have had the dock for about 3 weeks. I think it may be getting looser. I am not sure whether to return it.
