los angeles thunderbolt speed tests?

Hi everyone,

to recap, Ive been on a small phone splurge...

I got 4g dell streak on tmobile -> hated b/c had numerous issues ( I know it runs 2.2 but everything bundled with the dell software randomly shut down, and the phone rebooted automatically multiple times daily...plus i never got faster then 2.1 mbps download speed in LA.

I then picked up the motorola atrix on release date-> hated b/c it never downloaded at higher then 1.5 mbps.

Now I have a HTC evo-> Love, Im averaging 3-5mbs and no issues at all.

However...now the thundebolt on verizon came out...and the speed claims Im seeing are ridiculous... I still have some time to cancel my contract... Was the better choice to move to verizon?

CONCERNS:
With sprint when there is no 4g, the 3g is at .5mbps and I am not able to multi task on 3g (ie phone and gps, phone and internet etc? )

Anyone want to sway me from sprint to verizon or the other way?

Cheers!

The LA Metro has THICK WIDE DEEP VZW LTE SPECTRUM and will have some of the fastest speeds in the country. From LA to RIVERSIDE expect good coverage.

My LTE data card is doing any where from 10Mbps to 55 Mbps depending on time of day but usually in the 20Mbps to 30Mbps range
