Help Losing Network

I have searched a lot about this and found that others also encountered this but with no solution.

My Sony Xperia M5 loses network signal...
1) Out of nowhere
2) When I open some apps

Sometimes the square which says "1" is lit up but the triangle is greyed out with no bars.
Sometimes the whole thing is greyed out.

I have to restart the phone every time this happens. Sometimes restarting doesn't fix it either. :mad::(
 
The first thing to look at when encountering nwork issues is the APN settings (Settings/More/Mobile networks/Access Point Names. Are they correct?

If not, go to Settings/More/Internet settings and accept the download of updated APNs.

It's all good. Haven't encountered the problem without me doing anything. Don't know what happened. Can I get back to you when it happens again?
 
It occurred. But this time the signal bars are all full. But unable to send or receive texts and calls. Any suggestions???
