Root lost 4g somehow and cant get it back

Hm.. did you try taking out the UICC card?
Did it fall recently?
Did you treat your phone right? You know.. Like take it to dinner and things?
Disregard the last question if you want :P
 
what do you mean by fall? like dropped on the ground or service falling down to 1x? lol. and i always treat my phone like a queen...im offended that you asked!!

Yeah like dropped the phone in which gravity came into play and the phone fell from the point of the most potential energy. Into which while it was falling it had the mpst kinetic energy then to fall down making contact with the floor.
 
haha yeah ive dropped it maybe like 2 times since ive had it...the second time i guess was a couple days before it went down to 1x...could that be it?

I don't know but maybe, anything can happen. But did you try taking out the uicc card?
 
yeah i took it out for a sec but i didnt take it out for very long and the phone was off when i did take it out. is there a certain way that i have to do it?

ok i still dont have 4g..here is what i did though. i took my phone up to the metro pcs store...not giving a flying rats ass that is was rooted and very obvious. the stupid lady there told me to bring it in the next morning so the "technition" could look at it. i took it up there this morning and he looked at it. (i had at least flashed a backup of stock zvd at this point) there were 2 other peeps inside metropcs having the same problem that i was having and all he did was a master reset on there phones and sent them on their way. i told him that i had already done a master rest on mine that morning (i still had CWM installed so i was hoping he wouldnt try another one). luckily he didnt even know how to boot into recovery mode so he asked me how i did it. i told him that i held the volume up and volume down button and the power at the same time...in which case he briefly pressed them all at once...rebooting the phone and nothing more lmao. then he was like "well i jusr reset it...and you still dont have 4g...sooooo ill just order you a new phone". i found out later that he had the exact same phone and apparently metro had done a big system upgrade sometime last week and some phones were messed up because of it lol.

soooo i pick my new phone up in the next few days. i have to pay $10 for it but being that it is really only because most metro employees are ****ing ******s. i dont mind paying $10 for a phone that i may or not supposed be paying full price for lmao :D
