running bb v.04 on Droid1, but build# now says bb v0.5 because i installed the latest stopOTA. I think i lost the BB Toolkit when this happened. I now get this pop-up everytime i try to open it (even after rebooting).

My Toolkit also had the exact same problem recently when running .5 and alot of others have posted that theirs doesn't work. In .6 and .6.1 Pete eliminated the toolkit and moved the functions into the Setting menus so it may have been disabled or deactivated but I have not heard anything official (ie: I am speculating which I know is a dangerous thing.:D)

thanks for the info re: others having the same problem (i searched, but couldn't find much).

i guess it's gone for good. will either go with v 0.6 or wait for 3.0.; not sure yet.....

Both .6 and .6.1 have worked well for me. I have been loving the BB ROMs. I am not big into all of the customization stuff so Pete's ROMs are perfect for me.

OK, running BB 0.6.1, and according to this thread, the functions of the BB Toolkit were moved to under the Settings Menu... so why do I still have the BB Toolkit icon in my list of apps?

Is there a way to remove it?

Did you re-install your apps with Titanium Backup? That may have done it automatically.

You should be able to uninstall it with Root Explorer and if I remember right Pete lets you unistall it in his ROM under Manage Applications.
