Had my Samsung Galaxy 2 phone for about two months-no problem. Version 2.3.6. I powered it up recently and the word "START" appeared in the bottom left corner when it got to my home screen (and stayed there until I rebooted). When I went into yahoo, I had to log in and all my contacts were gone. Then I noticed that most of my pictures were missing. Strangely, some were there from the first day I owned the camera and others from the very day all this happened, but most in between were missing. I rebooted, the word start did not appear again, but my data was still gone.
I called T-mobile and they basically told me "that's the way it goes sometimes".
I am not very tech savvy but would appreciate any help any one can provide finding or recovering my files. Alternatively, is there a problem with my phone?
Thanks, Cynthia
