Help lost external sound

i was playing a game last night and the external speaker quit. have rebooted, removed the bat. and attempted the hedphone jack fix. still no sound from external speaker: witch also means no ring for incoming calls this phone is only 3 days old new from the retailer. am i missing somthing guys or do i take it back?

i uninstalled the pinball app i was playing when i lost sound and a few hours later (w/o a reboot) the sound was back. hope this situation is permanent will post if situation changes and hope this might help somone else.

Hi...I was wondering if you've had any luck figuring out what went wrong? I haven't done an extensive search on the forums yet for a sollution to my particular problem but think that it might be the same as yours...

Mine lost all sound today as I was listening to the default player and for the life of me I can't figure out if I bumped something that would have changed a setting, etc.(?).
