So i moved 2 videos from my gallery to a file. My phone automatically titled it .nomedia however when i tried to open the.nomedia files its impossible. I downloaded a nomedia app and now i have pictures of people from facebook and other social networks in my gallery but not my videos and some of pictures. is it possible to just start over and put all my original photos and videos back in my gallery? HELP!!!

Pull the videos... what format were they?
Could be that the phone lost the .3gp tag or something. Especially if you renamed it and removed the .3gp from the name.
