I've recently cracked the LCD in my Samsung Note 3, so I took it to a local phone repair shop, and he replaced the LCD for me. I could see it working fine. When he tested to see if my phone could make and recieve calls, an error came up, saying 'NO IMEI/NULL' Or something similar. I'm not sure if this was caused by the breaking of the phones itself, or maybe the guy repairing it, broke it when he was changing the screen, or it's just a rip off.
He says he'll contact me and give me a quote on how much it will cost to fix, but I want to know how it could have happened in the first place and if I need to pay loads of money to repair it, or if I can do it myself.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
