Lost multi window after root

Hi,
I'm new to this forum but I recently rooted my galaxy s3 and after the root I noticed that my ability to run multi window was gone. The shortcut button at the top of my screen is gone and the long press on the back button no longer works. Please help. Thanks.

did you put a custom rom on your phone after rooting?

Hey there and welcome to the forums!

Are you currently on a Touchwiz or AOSP (cyanogenmod based) rom?

If TW, you should be able to go into your settings to see if multi Window is turned on or off.

If your on AOSP, those don't have multi Window, however select AOSP roms have Halo which is the equivalent to multi Window.
