Help lost my contacts with the update

I just installed the new update. There are now 9 AT&T contacts and only 5 of my old contacts in the list.
I cannot seem to 'sync' these using the Motorola Media Link program.

Not 100% sure if you're going to be able to get them back, but from now on i suggest you sync your contacts with google from now on.

... after the GB update I found that my contacts were fine - but, my groups were gone ...
