Root Lost root and 4g after reset

I did a factory data reset to transfer my phone to my gf.

Lost root and 4g access. No PC available ATM....

Any ideas?

were you using CM10.1 before you reset it?...because if so then you need to change your network settings back to stock as well so you can get 4G

but Root will get lost after factory resetting because factory = not rooted

try unbricking both. and be careful with the attain, I heard you can perma-brick it if you leave something checked/unchecked...I don't remember.

oh just saw the no PC available, well was CM on the Motion before??

Yeah, clockwork mod but can't reboot into 2ndint recovery without root.


For the attain you NEVER leave "repartition" checked. Insta brick

I've never lost root on my motion. I don't like supersu so when i root I always uninstall it and install the cm superuser from Google Play. I've reset a handful of times and just reinstall the app from the playstore. As far as 4g...I've never lost it after a reset, but if it doesn't come on sometimes I just reboot and it works.
