Love my new Droid X

Hi all,

Just turned in my Samsung Fascinate for a variety of reasons....laggy, crashing system regularly, and a blue tint to all my Google web browsing pages. Not good. Picked up the X and I am really happy with it so far...I've been getting to know the phone and so far, life is good!

Here is a noobie question, and believe me, I got a bunch of them::D

After I take a picture it goes into a default folder. Can I create different folders on this page? How?

Thanks in advance,

Steve in So Cal

I hope you continue to enjoy it, and that's a good question, I don't know the answer. So I'll be waiting for one too.

Don't know if you can do that(don't know if you can't either), but if you save a picture someone texts or emails you it will be saved in a separate folder. Same thing if you use a separate camera app.

just create a folder and put pics in it

the gallery will scan your sd card and hd and pick up all of the pictures and show them

Files app
Click phone files
Menu button
New folder.

Then go to your pictures folder, menu, select multiple, and click move. Go to the folder you want them in, and move them into it.

As for changing the default folder, I'm not sure. I usually move them after the fact.

The Files app is in the app drawer. Its icon is a partially opened manila folder. It is similar to Windows Explorer in that it is a file manager.

Hey all,

Thanks for the great advice...I was going to ask, "Ok, but how do I create a file, and voila! Someone immediately answered!

Had the phone a few days and still really enjoying it. I regularly get 3-4 bars where previously I got zero or one. Very nice Think this phone is a keeper for me.

Best,
Steve

Yep so far, so good. I did do a battery pull today (I've had the phone a week) and it improved performance (I kept getting a message stating i needed to insert a micro sd card-even though the phone came with one.)

My BB Storm had a battery pull app. I've looked on the A.M. and can't find one-I'm either surprised, or looking in the wrong place!

Cheers,
