Loving the Desire,

Got the Desire the other day and loving it so far. The sense ui is amazing and the screen kicks the iPhone to the curb.

The only downfall is battery life, is there anyway i can save it?

Buy another charger for work, and a car charger. Ever since getting my first smartphones, I have given in to the fact that I never, ever get a whole day out of one. Am always charging again by 4/5pm or so.

Give it time, it actually seems to get better once you have been through a few charge cycles.

czechplastik speaks the truth, battery life gets better after the first few cycles. But smartphones rarely get a full day's battery if you actually use them, so I suggest you follow brykins's advice and buy a crapload of extra chargers for your car and for work.
