Help Low Battery Back-Up after JB Update

I have updated my Sony Xperia S to Jelly Bean 4.1.2. But after that, I'm experiencing Low Battery Back-up. Battery drains much quickly than before. What should I do to prevent it? Please help

I think major updates like that need a full factory reset.
Some people are lucky and didn't need to, others..not so lucky.
