Help low in-call problem w/bluetooth

SteveL55

Lurker
I'm experiencing low in call volume while using my bluetooth (Jabra Extreme 2) and I was wondering if you have had this problem or have heard of it. My wife uses the same bluetooth on her Note 3 with no problems, thanks

Hey Steve, welcome to our AndroidForums! :)

I've moved you over to your own thread over here to help get you the appropriate audience.

Cheers and best of luck!

I've tried connecting my wife's BT to it. with the same outcome low in call volume. I'm hoping that the 4.3 update takes care of it...thanks for the help

I assume you have Note 2. Just as an additional test, connect your BT to your wife's N3 to make sure there is nothing wrong with your BT headset (stuck volume button, etc.).

Do you have any other bt headsets you can try it with? Perhaps go to your wireless carrier and tell them you want to test out another headset/headphone.

If indeed you have an issue with your phone, I don't think 4.3 update will solve anything since I haven't heard of anybody else with N2 and current 4.1.2 having BT low volume issues. I personally review a lot of accessories and tested at least a few dozen of wireless headphones and speakers with my stock Note 2 and never had an issue with a volume. Keep in mind, when it comes to wireless - volume is adjusted in two places, your phone and your headset. Make sure both of them are up. Also, make sure when headset is un-paired, you can listen to audio through N2 speakers and adjust the volume up/down.
