Help low on memory

Hi. I'm new. Trying to figure out my lg spirit. Nothing will update. It says phone storage space is low. Can anyone Tell How to get more memory. Thanx
 
how much stuff have you already downloaded?

The phone only has 4gb of memory. You can try going into settings/apps/all tab look at the bottom and see how much space is used/left.

If you have a lot left than its the playstore. scroll to Google play store click on it, then click "clear Cache" than reboot, see if that helps.

Mounts2sd all in one )from the play store.but you got to have init.d.so I used pimp my rom to get it active it worked for me I now have ext-4 so much system space.you just got to set it up the way that fits your needs its all on the mounts2sd app settings..
 
Get an SD card. I bought a Sandisk 32GB for under $25.00 on sale at newegg.com

It's a class 4, but I don't have any read/write speed issues.

I use it mostly for music and store a lot of my pics and vids on my PC and on the Cloud.

Mine was exactly the same, except it was $26 w/ free shipping :)
 
I have the same issue with apps not updating because of low phone storage memory. I have 2.8 gig free internal, 10 gig sd free and only 512 system memory used. Something else is going on. Uninstalling apps doesn't help. Clearing caches doesn't help either. Any one got a suggestion?
 
The volume down + home + power buttons should get you to recovery mode (in a non-rooted LG device), where you can wipe the cache partition.

After rebooting, go into the Application Manager and clear data and cache on the Play Store app, reboot again.
