HI ALL

right here goes
i tried to install a program called aurasma lite but about 3/4 of the way through it it came up with cant download as not enough space on the phone . before i statred i had 21.mb now i only have 10 mb
what i would like to know how do i get the 10mb back i have looked in the files and i cant find anything on the phone with that name on it
any clues where to look as i have astro file mananger

i have tried clearing cache also removing battery and deleting old txt msg and pictures still to no availe ?

I had the same issue downloading the Rules of Golf (I know...). I got down to 1MB free at one point. In the end I rooted, installed Redux, did apps2sd+ and moved the davlik cache. I now have 100MB of internal memory free :)

Internal memory is the /data directory in root. You could have a look in there to see if there's a half downloaded apk (delete anything at your own risk though...).

That doesn't answer the papa j's question though.

To papa j: You cleared the cache for which apps?

Pictures are stored on the SD card, not internal storage. So that won't help.

If you go to Manage Applications, choose All, and then Menu > Sort by size you'll get an idea of which apps are using space. You can either remove apps or clear the cache to get some space back.

Note that clearing the cache for some apps may wipe out account data, settings, other information.
