Help "Low on Space" notification, EMail is biggest

ml_nelson

Newbie
I've got a notification "Low on Space". Selecting the notification brings me to the Applications Manager & shows apps in order of size.

The largest is "EMail" at 30MB. It's not clear how to dal with this. the only way I see to delete emails is one at at time.

How am I to get the use of space by EMail under control?

When the stock email app "deletes" email, all it does is remove them from your list, the email is never actually deleted. Clear userdata from the app and start over is the only way to cut down onn the size of that app.

If I clear the Userdata, I loose all the setting & then I need to re-enter them. There has to be a better way! If not, this eMail app is flawed & useless.

Clear user data, the download K-9 mail. It gives you the option to delete all emails and clears up space.

I took the suggestion, deleted all, reloaded the setting & sure as hell; the size is now a fraction of a Meg.

It's really hard to believe that the app works like this..... Google/Android really do field some crap app's.
