Help "Low on Space" Problem

This low on space message is annoying. Don't know if anyone else has noticed but it seems that when you get this message you no longer receive texts (tried texting myself, and nothing came through until I freed some space). Since this message comes up when you have about 20Mb left, it renders all that space completely useless.
Anyone know any way of changing that - like stopping the message from coming up or anything?

Free up some space in internal memory.
However you can go ninja
I have a separate thread on using SD card as replacement internal memory and it's way better than Froyo app2SD .Use method 2, safe and works like a charm.(Unless you remove SD card)

thanks I'll look at that.
I keep deleting stuff I don't need and I'm at a point now where everyhing I have I'd like to keep cos I use it often. Its just annoying that you have a significant 20mb left and the phone refuses to be a phone. Now I manage deleting my browser cache every so often lol
