Help low output volume

Anyone know how to increase the audio output on these phones?

I've never had good audio output on any of my android phones, and even my tablet is quiet.

Comparing to iphones and itabs... Is it an OS thing or is it just cheaper hardware in the android phones?

I've got poweramp on tablet and phone but all I can really tweak is bass output (which was handy no doubt)

Is there any voltage hacks or anything to increase the audio volume output?

I'm wanting to run a speaker off it and to plug it into my car aux in.. Is about half as loud as an IOS device.

You have PowerAmp. You can use the Preamp slider in the equalizer panel.

hi mate, where is that? In Advanced Tweaks menu there is meant to be a equalizer but when I go in there's only the following options:

Direct Volume Control (tick box)
MusicFX (tick box)
Audio Buffer Size
Audio Thread Priority
7db Equalizer Bands
Restore Equalizer Built-in Pres...

Where else can I check?

In poweramp, press menu, then equalizer.

Be careful of the speakers. Earpods and headphones can mostly take big boosts, but the speakers on these things will lose quality (buzz out is what we used to say ) if over driven by an equalizer/amp/pre-amp etc.

Ahhh very cool, I'd only used the bass boost feature in there in the past... Excellent, thanks for the info.

Am using it on a portable speaker I bought from china, much louder now
