So recently my eris has beeing ringing very quite. My text messaging notifcation is as loud as normal, but everytime i get a call i cant hear my phone unless im right next to it...=/ is there anyway to fix this problem?

I like to use Audio Manager Widget from the market to compare all of my volume levels.

Also, make sure the "quiet ring on pickup" is not checked in your sound settings.
