Low sound problem

I am a new user of HTC Wildfire S. I am facing a sound problem here. When I play a music track, the volume is too low to hear though the full volume is set. Even I connect the phone with a sound box, it is really hard to hear this. Is this the problem of my phone or the common problem for all?

I can't say I've noticed any problems with volume. What about when you're on a call, how is the volume then?

It's low too. I hardly manage to hear.

Sounds like a dodgy handset to me. I'd see if you can get a replacement.
