Root Low sound

After installing CM7 I found that ringtone and notification tones were very low and hard to hear if my phone was in my pocket. I reluctantly got rid of CM7 and flashed BLACKICE. I really like it, but seem to be having the same sound problem. Any ideas as to what the problem might be, as when using stock rom they are very loud.

It's possible the cm7 kernel doesn't include the aduio boost a lot of other roms has. Have you tried the LordMod kernel over on XDA? That one boosts the audio, if I recall correctly.

I dont know much about Kernel's...
My Kernel version is:
2.6.35.14-LorDmodUE-8.1-CFS+

Even with his Audio boost, the sound is a little lacking compared to other ROMs. There's an app in the app drawer, you can have a play around with some of the settings there, see if that improves things?

Thanks for that, just had a go with it, some improvement but not great. Maybe I should just live with it or find another rom
