Help Low Sound

Sorry if this has been posted twice
As i said this tablet seems to have a very low sound about when watching videos or music
Any external noise makes it unwatchable
Even when you have earphones it still seems low
All settings for sound are at max

Tab 2 10.1 ver 4.0.4

The earphones i use are only cheap ones would this improve if better headsets i am talking volume not quality

Hi Brian.

I would say it's more than likely a combination of 'cheap' headphones and potentially the app you are using to watch videos.

My tabs are rooted and i am very happy with the volume on both, and they are running different roms, but even when they were on Stock Samsung roms, the sound quality was still impressive for speakers so small.

You might want to post what app you are using to play your vids and what your current settings are, this may help other users out there to either help you, or help them if there is a solution.

Thanks for quick reply I think I will invest in a set of better headphones
I Was using the standard Samsung video player with the sound set to movie
 
Hi Brian.

Did you manage to get another pair of cans, and if so did it make any improvement to the sound levels.
 
It's more than likely that all the various apps and platforms have thier own volume levels, some which you probably can't control other than what they allow you through the software.
 
Hi Brian.

Any headphones will work regardless of Phone/Tablet/MP3 Player, providing they have a 3.5mm Jack which 99.9% do.

Some headphones will also be supplied with a 5.5mm Jack that can be used in other audio units such as receivers or stereos.

In regards to the headphones, i have a set of earbud samsung headphones which are adequate for basic listening, but i also own a high end pair of SONY cans.
 
This sound Problem came up on another Forum the User downloaded "Equaliser App" from playstore and it cured the problem. I downloaded it and my sound is noticeable Louder
I have bought some Samsung Earphone ad they are a lot better
Now completely satisfied>
