I know with Sense we have the nice little widget to turn 4G off/on. Is there something similar for LPP?

not directly on LP but you could try beautiful widgets..thats what i use along side LPP

Yes, I believe beautiful widgets has a 4g toggle widget, but you can just search the market for "4g widget", and you'll find a whole bunch of them.
